School Uniform
The P & C endorse the uniform policy of our school. If a student chooses not to wear the uniform, the school will request them to wear a school supplied uniform for the day.
It is essential that students be identifiable as Woree State High students for Health and Safety reasons. A uniform can also provide a sense of belonging, an important ingredient in successful schooling.
All students are required to wear appropriate footwear (closed in shoes) at all times; this ensures access to workshops, kitchens, laboratories etc. This uniform policy was endorsed by the P & C on 16 December 2004. Please note that EFTPOS is available at the uniform shop.
At a recent P & C Meeting, 17th July 2007, an endorsement of amendment to the uniform options was passed.
The following option is ONLY AVAILABLE for Term 3. All students (Year 8 - 12) may wear due to the cooler weather:
Long black tailored pants/trousers with their school polo shirt.
The normal uniform requirements are still required to be adhered to.
When Term 4 commences this introduced option will cease.
The following uniform options (*) are only available from the P & C Uniform Shop which is only open on Thursday between 8.00 am and 9.00 am.
