Mathematics
Mathematics is important to all of us - in our homes, workplace and recreational activities. The study of mathematics places emphasis on the development of positive attitudes towards the student's involvement in mathematics through working systematically and logically, and communicating with and about mathematics.
Located predominatly in J block, the Mathematics staff at Woree SHS endeavours to utilise both traditional approaches of Mathematics teaching as well as using the latest innovations such as graphics calculators, computer software and other teaching aids to engage and inspire our students. An extensive range of Mathematics subjects are offered to suit a wide range of interests and abilities.
