Year 12 Enrolment Package
Introduction
Year 12 students are primarily focused on completing their senior certificate. Students may choose from two pathways of study in the senior school. They may choose from a range of authority subjects, which will enable them to receive an OP score. This will then give them the option of applying for further education courses at university or TAFE. Alternatively, students may choose to focus on preparing for work, and will therefore choose school-based subjects. Many students in this group also apply for school-based traineeships.
Apart from the main focus of study, there are a number of activities students can get involved in to make their final year at school memorable. Some examples are applying for leadership positions on the Student Council and running school community events, such as Valentines Day, swimming and sports carnivals, and fundraisers. The annual ski trip to New Zealand is also a great event that students look forward to. The year culminates with the graduation and formal to celebrate the students' achievements.
